And then also if you haven't signed up for a sacred rebel affirmations, you can do that in the show notes. The phone number is in the show notes. But I send out just fun weekly texts that are meant to uplift you. No strings attached. Alright, let's get into today's subject matter. When was the last time you brought awareness to the words you speak what we say and how we say it matters. So today, I am going to riff with so much love on self expression when it comes to the words we use in our every day vocabulary. I am not introducing a new theme of the month yet because I'm a little behind on my episodes, so we're still still still. Whew, that was a hard one to get out today. Guys. We are still in self expression. The rest of July will be judgment detox, but today we're still doing self expression. Okay, back to today's subject matter Brene Brown says, language is hugely important because language not only communicates emotion, it shapes actually what we're feeling. Language is like a portal to magic places. And I agree with this. Let's look at this chronologically. We have a thought. And until it is spoken, it's just that a thought. But then, when we speak that thought out loud, that thought moves into words and words have energy. And where our attention goes, our energy flows right. Today's episode is powered by the golden secrets. This incredible skincare line was birthed from the heart and soul of Jessie golden, who if you don't know who she is yet, you should listen to episode 102 of this podcast because I interviewed her and you're going to absolutely fall in love with her I'm telling you. But this line the golden secrets is a holistic, sustainable, Fairtrade wild harvested and cruelty free skincare and wellness line that wants to inspire rituals of self love, and unveil a natural, ageless golden glow. It's rooted in nature, ancient wisdom and organic beauty. The Golden secrets is committed to giving back and providing tools for the conscious consumer to live a more balanced, fulfilled beautiful and purposeful life. sound like something you want to be a part of? Yep, me too. The Golden secrets thrives on making skincare and wellness products that benefit everybody. all ethnicities, sexual orientations, and specific skincare needs skincare that doesn't harm you or the environment but instead works in harmony to awaken it. Oh, yes, yes, yes. Also, every product comes with an affirmation and a QR code so you can quickly learn how to use the product. I love combining affirmations with things we do every day. It transforms something as mundane as putting on your moisturizer into a sacred moment. And if you've been listening to this podcast for any length of time, you know I'm all about that. This line is it's just next level. I have their youth beauty face oil, their aura beauty mist, Sorcerer's Stone guasha beauty tool, gold pulse firming face wand and this sculpting stone guasha Bodhi tool. I've also heard rave reviews about the golden secrets heal all oil. So that's next on my list. I use these products pretty much daily. And my gosh, I could go on for days about the benefits of guasha which if you buy any of their guasha tools, you get a giant ebook chock full of info on how to use it, and why it's so transformative and why the stone specifically, the composition of the stone is so important. It's not like other guasha tools at all. I'm also so in awe of the youth beauty face oil immediately absorbed into your skin. It plumps it up it gives you this Golden Globe and the aura mist penetrates your skin and locks in moisture five times better than hyaluronic acid. Guys, it's a total game changer, especially if you live in the desert like me. And in addition, this might be my favorite product. Although it's really hard to say the gold pulse firming face one not only feels amazing, it helps erase the tiny Forehead Wrinkles I have I've watched in all multiple times in the mirror as those little bad boys disappear as I use this tool. I cannot recommend this slide enough it is next level on every level. So do yourself a favor and go to the Golden secrets.com or follow the link in the show notes and use code. I just know it Have you ever heard the phrase speak it into existence? It refers to manifesting speak aloud what you want to be. I have seen this over and over in my life. The most recent and illustrative example is when I was pregnant. One night, while my husband and I were talking in bed I looked at him and I said oh and I remember it so vividly. So I was like, I hope this baby has your hair, and your eyes, but my eye color, your nose, and my mouth. And guess what? My son Roman looks like my husband's clone, except he has my lips, and he's starting to have my eye color. baby's eyes change, you know, for the first year that they're alive. Anyway, what we speak carries weight, it carries energy, it carries frequency. And everything around us has a frequency. So what frequency? Do your words live on? For instance, if you want to make more money, what language do you use around wealth? Do you say money is the root of all evil? That's a recipe for having no money. Do you say that rich people are bad or unhappy? Do you say that money flies out the window? Or easy in easy out? Or I guess I'll never be rich, or it's really hard to make money or Oh no, the other shoe is about to drop. What you say helps to shape your reality. Lao Tzu says, watch your thoughts. They become words, watch your words. They become actions. Watch your actions, they become your habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny. Your words become your actions. So if you speak that making money is hard or that you will never be rich, you will subconsciously create that reality. And the same goes for other areas of your life. What are your words around health? What are your words around the relationships you have? Or wish to have in your life? Are you desirous of a romantic partner? What language do you use around that? What words do you use around your work? Do they bring an increase in frequency? What do they decrease the frequency? What words do you use around happiness? Do you talk about chasing it? Or having it now that phrasing matters. So now, let's think of what you want to call in. And when I say Colin, I mean manifest bring into reality have in your life. And then let's speak it into existence. What do you want more of in your life? Let it be easy to have. Like if it's money, change your language around money to be. Money is easy to make. Money comes to me. I'm abundant. I have abundance every single day. As humans, we have a tendency to overcomplicate pretty much everything. But let this process of calling in what you want. Be easy and fun and joy filled. Because if it is easy and fun and joy filled, you'll be more likely to do it. And more likely to do it consistently. You can switch your words, I'm just going to give you an example from making more money is hard to making money is as challenging as I make it. You can switch your words from I'm lonely, and I'll probably end up alone too. I'm open to meeting new people and engaging in new experiences. You can switch your words from I'm self conscious about my body to my body does so much for me. And I'm going to care for it lovingly in return. Do you hear and see and feel how different those phrasings are. The first set feels heavy, and the second set feels hopeful. So do you want to heavy or do you want to hopeful? I would venture to guess if you're listening to this podcast, you want hopeful? We are diving into this important work because we want to understand and own our worth, right. Part of this process is bringing awareness to our words. How do you speak about yourself? How do you describe your life, your job, your partner, your friendships? That thing that happened to you that really hurt you? What language do you use, as you put words to your thoughts? I'm reading a book right now on wealth. Actually, I just finished it. It's called Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv. eker or Ekor. I'm not sure. It's fantastic though. And one thing he says in this book is that if you really want to change your life, do one thing right now. Stop complaining. Seriously. Try this for one week. he even mentioned the wearing a rubber band around your wrist and snapping at anytime you feel yourself starting to complain. What have you tried this? What do you think your life would feel like? If you only spoke high vibe words? How would it change? I've done a lot of work around words over the years. And what I've noticed is that I operate on a different level than I used to. I also notice very quickly what kind of language other people use, and whether or not I want to spend time with them based on the kind of language that they use. Studies show that who we hang with is who we become. I don't know about you, but I believe this. And I don't want to be around complainers. It kills the vibe, and it sucks my energy out to friends. You want to live big. You want to own your worth. You want to embody your potential. You wouldn't be listening to this podcast if you didn't. So I'll wrap up with this. If we want to live big, we cannot speak small
